Beirut Wings FTO offers two courses for the Garmin G1000™ Electronic Flight Information System (EFIS):
an introduction for VFR pilots, and a more advanced IFR course.

The Garmin G1000™ EFIS VFR

The course provides an introduction to the operation of the Garmin G1000™ Electronic Flight Information System (EFIS), the Primary Flight Display (PFD) and the Multi Flight Display (MFD).

Designed for pilots who have GPS experience and require an introduction to the “Glass cockpit” PFD/MFD display screens and for first time users of the Garmin G1000™ PFD/MFD.

  • The hours provided for the Tuition above are the minimum course requirement. According to the overall performance and progress of the pilot additional instruction may be required to meet the proficiency standards required to satisfactorily complete the Garmin G1000 program. The number of additional hours will be determined by the Flight Instructor.
  • The Fees may be adjusted without prior notice by Beirut Wings management in the event of unforeseen cost escalation, including but not limited to, rapidly rising fuel costs or increased aircraft flying costs.
  • Flight Training Material cost is based on mandatory items needed to complete the course.

Garmin G1000™ EFIS IFR

An Advanced course on the operation of the Garmin G1000™ Electronic Flight Information System (EFIS), the Primary Flight Display (PFD) and the Multi Flight Display (MFD).

Designed for pilots who already hold a current IMC/IFR rating and wish to convert to a “glass cockpit”.
